Introducing our first collection
This collection celebrates the spirit of childhood with a focus on playful designs, comfort, and versatility. At the heart of Moon Child is the belief that children’s clothing should be as dynamic and imaginative as the kids who wear them. Each piece is inspired by the joyful uncomplicated look of childhood-think fun colour combinations and unexpected material combinations that spark creativity.

ABOUT
MOON CHILD
Moonchild believes in making children’s clothing in which children can be completely themselves. The collection is made out of pieces suitable for every child. The colorful and cheerful designs symbolize the creativity and playful outlook of every child.
Each piece is designed with love. Moon Child proudly presents its first collection, handmade with love and inspired by the child itself.
Meet Jasmijn
As a little girl, my grandparents gave me a sewing machine and a box of knitting supplies for my seventh birthday. I learned to sew, knit, embroider and much more. For years I attended sewing lessons every Friday afternoon where I became better and better at making and designing clothes. Now I proudly present my graduation collection to the AMFI. For me, fashion is much more than just clothes. For me it is a source of inspiration that never stops.
Sustainability cannot miss out in my work. All designs I make can be worn by both boys and girls. The clothing is of high quality such that the clothing can be preserved and passed on to other children.
The Roots
My inspiration started when I was a child myself. As a child I was already very creative. I learned that the position of the moon at the time of birth can determine whether you are a ‘Moon Child’. Moon Childs are children who are creative and open to everything between the here and now. From here began a huge source of inspiration. Moon Child’s first collection was born.
The fact that my passion can now become my work is a great dream come true.
I believe that perseverance is a strength that everyone can have from deep inside and that following your dream is something magical.
